My Wedding!

I just love how all my pictures get uploaded backwards! Geez! Here are a few from my wedding. there were over 450 to choose from, so this is just a fraction. Most of you have seen all of them on FB, but here are some good ones! We stayed at a B&B before we were on our way to hawaii. the B&B is HAUNTED!!!!! Thank goodness my mom told me after we had left there, or else i would of not slept there. I did have a feeling it was haunted when we got there.I remember telling Landon "I think this place is haunted!" and all he said ya, this place is old. It was creepy and old looking! ha ha How romantic! I had a hard time sleeping that night. It is the Armstrong Mansion. Google it. (if you do, it will show you a picture with a ghost walking around!) it is on the haunted registry list thingy. But we got it for free, so that was cool!

Everyone seeing us off. What I liked about my reception is that peolp STAYED and HUNG OUT. most receptions you drop off a gift, say hi to bride and groom, get food and bail. but everyone stayed and mingled so it was an on going PARTAY!

We had a photobooth! it was sooo fun. I love looking at my guest book and seeing peoples pictures and not just their message and signature.

Oh, this cake. beautiful huh? This guy right her, Adam, he did it. He is incredible! I did not want to cut into it, it was sooooo pretty! it was amazingly tasty too.

Oh boy. so I had this brilliant idea to get a pic of my nieces and nephew in front of this cute playhouse. I had a vision on how exactly i wanted it to be. Boy was I wrong! thees little rascals (mostly Daisee, the middle one) would not cooperate! but thats ok. it still turned out cute.

I am so sad it is over! that day went by too fast. it was a beyond perfect day! now I just need to work on all my thank you cards. anyone want to help?

Being preggo really sucks the life out of you. I was feeling great then around my 6th week i started to get night sickness really bad. Not so much morning sickness, but night time sickness. I am currently in the middle of my 9th week. Im not as sick as I was earlier, but i am exausted! and c.o.n.s.t.i.p.a.t.e.d.. oooooohhhhhh the constipation! I knew that was a side affect, but i thought it happened later on when all my organs were moved around because of a growing baby. Oh boy this is really annoying! We did 3 gender prediction tests and all of them said we were having a boy. Landon knows %100 that it is a boy, while I have no clue. I have always wanted a boy so He can be the Big Brother, but then I want a girl because I can make so many cute things for her! I went to my First Dr. appt this week and He gave me the due date of March 20th. He did an ultra sound and the little fetus Jumped! it was so cute! It was petty amazing to see your baby for the first time, even though it was just a little blob. I have known Im pregnant for 5 weeks now, and this has been the longest 5 weeks of my life. March just seems like it will never come! So please time, hurry up so I can meet my little person.

WE are BEYOND THRILLED to announce that I am pregnant! I found out on July 13! I had been feeling way sad a few days before i found out. So I thought it was just PMS, but then it wouldn't go away. So I came home for lunch to take a test, and it was positive!!! (ladies, please save your 16 to 20 dollars on tests from the regular grocery store. did you know that all a dollar sells them for 1 DOLLAR!!!!! so stock up because they are 100% legit. it is All A Dollar's number 1 best seller!) anyways, I wanted to tell Landon so bad but he was at work and i wanted to tell him in person. i went back to work then rushed home to make a onsie that said I love Daddy, wrapped it up in a box with the test stick. I was watching out the window waiting for him to come home. He was surprised i had a wrapped present for him (it was wrapped in Christmas paper). when he opened it he was shaking he couldn't believe it! we are so excited we can't stand it! Lil' Nugget is due around the end of March. I am only 4 weeks along I think.

This is something I have wanted more then ANYTHING in my life, and now that it is here, I'm thinking uh oh!! This is a scary thing! I'm not second guessing it at all, I'm just scared! is that normal?? I worry about all the things that could go wrong, the well being of my baby, my body, being tired, sick. Landon's dad is a twin and i have twins in my family so there is a chance I could have twins!
We are so excited for this next Chapter in our life. We cannot wait! as soon as I get my wedding pictures next week I will post them. They are beautiful!

Most of you have already seen my bridals on Facebook, but I need to keep up this dang blog so thees pictures are worth posting! So here a few of them. I love love love how my dress turned out. Penelope the dress maker is THE BEST! and no i did not copy princess kate! I had this dress picked out in september, so 7 months before we got to see hers. I had them done at wheeler farm. not a good place to go if you want to keep your dress clean, but i was super careful and didn't get it dirty. There were a bunch of little kids at the farm and the little girls kept on following me! They must of thought I was a princess or something. Kelly the photographer said little girls get mesmerized by a bride in a wedding dress. It was pretty cute.
I can't believe I'm getting married in 8 days! back in the first week of September when I got engaged, June seemed so far away. people were shocked by our 8 month engagement. Boy has time flown by! I cannot believe it is here! I just have a few little things to finish up then I am so ready.
You know when your going on an amazing vacation, and that's all you can ever think about? I used to think about that all the time whenever I had a trip booked. we are going to Hawaii for our honeymoon and I haven't even really thought about it! I keep saying to Landon, "do you realize we are going to Hawaii in 8 days?" I guess it's hard to think about when I have a bagillion other things going on. I don't know if I will post again before the wedding, but next time i do, I will be Mrs. Minear! (this will take a while to get used too- the name changing thing)

Favorite Engagement Picture

Landon and I had our engagements taken a few weeks ago. They were done at Ogden Union Station and main street (in ogden). They all turned out soooo good! (except for maybe 4, but out of 111, thats a lot!) Im going to have a hard time picking out one for invitations. I have not gotten the disk of all the pics yet, but when I do I will post a bunch. This one is my favorite! Kelly from gallery is amazing. I would definitely recommend him to anyone. (his wife's name is kelly also! that would be weird) anyway....

I cannot believe I'm getting married in 5 weeks. Time has flown by so fast. Bridals are next week so Penelope better have my dress done! and change of plans for the honeymoon, no more Cabo, we are going to hawaii!!! I can't wait. we need a real vacation (camping does not count).

All this snow is making me more excited for our honeymoon. I cannot wait to be lazy, have no plans, no worries, get some sun and lay out on the beach. I cannot wait! Cabo here we come!

boring post i know. but at least i posted something!

2010 has been by far the fastest year to fly by! Even though some life changing events, both good and bad have happened, it has been the best year ever. I think 2011 will even be better. I'm getting married! crazy! And hopefully I will be pregnant by the end of the year. oh man, thats just so weird to think about! I don't feel like I am 25, or that I'm at the age to be married, or have a baby. I don't know why I feel so young because I have lived on my own twice, experienced things most adults don't ever experience, been through alot and I still fell like I'm 19 or 20! it just all seams so weird to me. I need to get over it though. because I am so ready for those things and to move into the next chapter of my life.

The wedding plans are going great to far. I got the big major important stuff figured out, like location, dress, photographer, the date. Penelope starts fitting my dress any day now! I am so excited for that! And Gallery Photography is the photographer. Kelly is AMAZING. Check out his website! I love his style. His pictures are so gorgeous. In January/February Ill start doing all the other Little things.


This is my aunt Paula's house in Farmington where the wedding will be. this is the view from where Landon and I will be standing. I love how different it is, we will be up high, instead of my walking straight down an isle, i will be walking up stairs on the side up a hill to a gazebo. where my uncle is standing, that's where the family and friends will be sitting. its different and I love it!

My booth at Whisperwood & Co is doing so awesome! I love the idea that girls are walking around wearing the cute things I have made! I need to do Etsy, it seems like alot of work getting it up and running, but I need to do it.

I have 507 pictures on my camera's memory card! No wonder its been slow at taking pictures! I need to get all thees on a disk asap! Anyway, Christmas was wonderful! My dad was out of town for work (he is a conductor for Amtrak) on Christmas day, but came home on the 26Th. So my family didn't celebrate until then. But it works out great because I got TWO Christmas mornings! Christmas Eve was spent with Landon's family at his cousins house. we ate a yummy dinner, Santa comes for all the little kids, then the adults play a white elephant game. Then we head over to Landon's brothers house to get our cozy Christmas Pj's! (I didn't take any pictures of both Christmas mornings) Little kids make Christmas so much more fun and exciting. It was so fun for us to shop at ToysRus for OUR nieces and nephew, and I say OUR because now they are my nieces and nephew too! I am so excited that I can say I am an aunt! well, not officially yet, but his family always refers to me as Aunt Becci.
Christmas Morning we got super spoiled by His family. One of my favorite presents from his parents was a rod iron quilt rack and a huge gift certificate to Quilters Haven. I got Landon a golf putter that he has been wanting for a very long time. He says it will make his game so much better. (it better because it was 200 bucks. a putter is a putter to me) some much needed jeans, hats, true religion Cologne (it smells soooo good) and some other stuff. Landon got me a Hammock! I have always wanted one. I love laying in it under the sun with a good book. So when spring rolls around, I'm setting that baby up! and a huge Nordstrom gift card, THE best fabric scissors (thees things are so sharp and they cut so nice) and some other stuff....

Then Christmas morning with my family we always get spoiled rotten. My parents gave us a huge flat screen TV. (its currently in my room until we live together, having netflix instantly is pretty rad too! I love it!) and my main present from Santa is a quilting frame! So maybe i can finally get that quilt done that I started back in July. But i don't have room for it until our basement is done being remodeled. and I got a bunch of other stuff too. They gave Landon a bunch of bullet reloading stuff he needs for his bullet re loader that I got him last Christmas, a Hunting coat, and more stuff too. Mom and dad always out do themselves. They say that the spoiling will go right to the gran kids when they have them, but thats ok.

I made this skirt the day before. I am so happy the way it turned out. It is sooo cute and fits me perfectly. It looks better in person then in this picture. No one believed me that I made it. and it's from my own made up pattern! I think i need to go into the pattern making business, I'm getting pretty good at it! I want to make another one in darker colors.

Oh Emerie, I just love you to pieces. she is so cute and is always so happy! I made her that Christmas headband to go with her outfit.

so 2 months since I last posted. Are you surprised? I'm sure your not! We do fun stuff, Im just not sure if it is "post worthy" or not. Anywhoo, I need to get my butt to the mall right now so I can finish Christmas shopping! Evry year I say I will not leave it to the last min, but I always procrastinate! I hate crowds, so a trip to the mall in the month of December usually makes me have an anxiety attack. I promise Ill update next week about Christmas, wedding plans, and a bunch of other non-important stuff. I hope everyone has a very very

The wedding is outdoors. heals and grass don't mix. hope Paula wants her lawn arriated (doubt I spelled that right. you know what I'm talking about. when it looks like there is dog poop all over someones lawn? but it's really dirt?)

I think my colors will be toup? Taupe? Tope? can't spell that one either. that color that is grey-ish and brown-ish? So that color and cream. I am all about neutral colors. Maybe my sash on my dress will be that color I can't spell.

Oh! and I have another great idea! I want a photo booth at the reception! so all the guests will have a take home souvenir! great idea, huh? but someone will be working it because you don't put in money. hmmm... maybe I can charge people so I can make money! OK maybe not.... But I love that idea. I would love to go to a wedding that I could leave with a strip of photos. Then I get the pictures of all the guests doing funny things to put in an album for my guest book. I heard it was only $350 so I told my parents that and they said "that's not bad at all!". then when I called the lady to ask her the info, and it was double that. oops.... still haven't told mom and dad that!

Then I want Gallery Photography to do the photos. I love their work!

So everything is coming together. I still have a lot of time, but time goes by so fast and it will be here before I know it.

So maybe I won't have another blog. I'll just change the name. I can't keep track of two. I'm bad enough as it it with one! and I don't think my friends even know that I have a new one. so maybe that was a bad idea.

I all I have been thinking about it wedding plans! I was never that girl who pictured my wedding growing up. (to be honest, i didn't even know if I wanted one or not!) But now that I have a ring on my finger, I'm pretty excited and I know what I want. It will be at my aunt Paula's AMAZING house in Farmington. I'm thinking June 3 or 4. I did want it to be may 27 or 28 but that's Memorial Day weekend so no one would be in town.

I was looking at wedding dresses online and I came across this one. OK, so the dang picture is at the top! I hate this blogging crap! My pictures never end up where I want them! Is it better to upload pictures first, then write? I'm so bugged right now. Ill get over it. anyway I fell in love with this dress. I wanted something that is so different. It's by Monique Lhuillier so I'm sure it is $5,000 to 8,000 bucks and a few collections back So there is no way it would be mine. But guess what???? My dream dress will be mine! I heard of a lady named Penelope who makes custom wedding dresses. I was afraid if someone makes my dress the lace and silk would be cheap looking. But this lady is amazing. She orders all her material from New York. My mom and I met with her on Thursday and she had samples of the exact same lace Monique used in hers! so Penelope will make my dress exactly like how the picture is. But I don't want that weird fold in the front, and she will put a bustle (don't know how it's spelled) so It won't drag. Oh and it's a fraction of the cost too! Penelope, I'm gonna just call her penny from now on, she had the idea of making to top separate so I could wear it someplace nice down the road. She will start the dress in January. I am so excited and I am so glad to have that important part out of the way. now that I want to put some pictures of shoes, ill start a new post
